The first stop on our Morocco trip was Fès, one of the royal cities and with nearly 950000 inhabitants the third biggest city of the country (after Casablanca with 3 million and Rabat with 1,6 million inhabitants). I liked the city very much, especially the Medina, where I spent some hours just walking around and viewing the daily life. On the picture you can see a scavenger sweeping the street in front of a huge wall.
I hope you like it and can give me some good hints,
Jonas

Hello Jonas! Amazing wall, amazing scene. Good POV. Very good capture. Perfect composition. Great work. Well done!

Jonas,
Really well composed image, emphasises the size of the wall against this solitary figure. Impressive.
No tips needed!
Regards
Colin

You've added so much beauty to an already beautiful country by such lovely images. The colours and textures are amazing

Hi Jonas!
Wonderful job. Great effect. Fantastic shot. Marvelous!
Cheers!

Very beautiful. A huge wall and a single well sharp human figure.
Minimalistic and perfect.
Stefano

Hallo Jonas,
A very minimalistic composition and how i like that man with the broom cleaning up the pathway. You did very well here in the composition, that piece of blue on top is very clever included, i like this a lot.
Regards, Henk

nice minimalism..

Hi Jonas,

Kris

Hello Jonas,
You had used the best pov to capture the intensity of the huge wall and a sense of scale of the scavenger on the street below! the diagonal view of the top is nicely placed!
you had done well in this composition for sharing
regards
Tony

Hi Jonas!
Very good minimalist shot. I like that, you show us, only the tall wall, this "little" man with his broom and a little sky. The vertical version was a good choice to demonstrate the bigness of the wall.
Thanks, Csilla

The scale of this shot is tremendous. Very well seen and very well composed. A very artistic shot.
Best wishes
Mark

Excellent minimalist compo and vertical framing. Well seen. I have made a WS too.

TFS,
Andreea

Hello Jonas
I agree with you, the wall is huge. The presence of the scavenger gives an excellent idea of the size of the wall. I like the colours of it with some variations of the colours. It tells us that is not a new wall. Good idea to include a small part of the sky in the image. Cheers!
Best regards
Denis!

Hi Jonas,

Still a photo good made up. I like much the inclusion of this man who gives a scale in the image. This enclosing wall is really impressive. A good and interesting glance, Jonas cheer.

With all my friendships and a very good WE,

Hello Jonas,

I prefer this image without filter, this gives more real colour and more reality.
This is a very extraordinarily composition with the big wall and the small part of blue sky.
But the man with brush is the real eye catcher.
Very well done, thanks for sharing.

Have a nice Pentecost weekend,
John.

You are becoming quite a master at minimalist compositions. This is an excellent example. The small piece of sky and the road sweeper ensure that the composition works. Well done

Hello Jonas
Compositionally this is really well done, with the sweeper, quite small in front of the tall wall. Adding a part of the blue sky in a triangle was a good touch. Well seen & well captured

Jonas,
a great shot of daily life in this city of Fes. The little scavenger as a scale for the immensity of the wall and the detail of the sky to provide an additional impression of the tallness are all great features.
Have a good time in Italy! Are you doing some serious rock climbing again?
Peter

Das dargestellte Größenverhältnis zwischen Person und Stadtmauer ist schon beindruckend. Sehr schönes Motiv.
Viele Grüße,
Achim

Jonas,
Wow, what a contrast. The inclusion of the man sweeping, (he's got a lot to sweep) really show just how tall and big the wall really is. The little of sky just enough to show the top of the wall and the rest the viewers will finish the line. Simple but absolutely beautiful composition. There is a sense of solitary and quietness, per half a little sadness. He seem to be lost in his own world. Really beautiful image, I love it.
