Old and new frequently collide in Rome, I wanted to capture this in a picture.
This photograph was taken in the window of the United Colors of Benetton which is opposite the Trevi Fountain in Rome. The reflection shows the magnificent statue of Oceanus.
It was taken early in the morning, which is the only time the view was possible without catching the back of tourists' heads.
Little post-processing has been done, I just recropped and straightened the original image. |

Hi John
Interesting composition with the old reflecting on the new - creative angles and colours.

Hi John!
Good shot. Original idea. Nice lightness. Very interesting effect.
