[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Just returned from a visit to Thrace, Greece's north eastern province, which borders Turkey to the east and Bulgaria to the North. Many of the towns and villages have a significant Muslim population, the remnants of the Ottoman empire.

Hi Phil
Welcome back with this beautiful shot of the minaret. Lovely framing and good combination of colors, sharp and crispy

Hello Phil,
The dark sky makes the most of this elegant minaret, and the silhouetted intricate shapes of the foliage soften the starkness of the image. Good strong colours.
Very best wishes...Maggie

Καλημέρα Phil τι κάνεις;
Beautiful frame with the plane and the roofs! The main subject the proud minaret, stands in the centre of the scene in front of this exciting sky working as a perfect background!
Congratulations!

Hello Phil,

A fine sharp composition with lovely contrasts of colour between the blueish clouds and the red roofs.

I also like the gradations of tone that you have captured on the many facets of the polygonal tower of the minaret.

The branches at the top of the picture frame the tower neatly.

Regards,

Peter.
