Merci ! Le cadrage que tu as choisi nous fait partager la balade en bateau, la petite brise marine en moins. Le choix du noir est blanc est judicieux, il met bien en valeur les reflets sur l'eau.

Hello Christian,

The man sitting at front gives enough clue about your holiday, enjoy it. But he's excellent addition too for creating a spectacular frame with beautiful sight and reflections. Silhouettes of mountains and cloudy sky are wonderful. Perfect contrasts, very good sharpness. Congratulations.

Excellent b&w, simple and effective compo, well balanced, well framed. I like the sky, the distant mountains, the small boats at the horizon, the sea-reflected light, the curve of the banister, the clouds.

Real nice tonal range Christian. I love the way you captured all of the background detail while keeping the foreman out of a silhouette . Very nicely captured. I'd love to be on the bow of that ship just about now..

Ces tons gris mettent superbement le ciel en valeur.J'aurais bien aimé voir aussi la photo en couleurs...histoire de rêver à des vacances lointaines. Bon séjour là-bas et on te fait confiance pour nous ramener de superbes clichés.

Je trouve cette vue magnifique...Le regard du passage vers le lointain est presque visible. Il y a juste une petite chose qui me chiffonne, le ciel...Tu aurais pu faire un brin de pp pour nous assombrir cela.... Si j'ai le temps je ferai un petit ws!

The amazing cloud formations, the composition with the boat's bow and the man there, and your excellent exposure into the light, make this a very strong image. It's a well balanced photo with a great depth and sense of space. Very well done, and the b/w has worked well.

wowwwwww, bon voyage mon ami, cette photo est lumineuse, j aime beaucoup comment tu as cadré le bateau dans l'angle laissant toute la place à la mer et ces superbes nuages.

Salut Christian,
Although it is a b&w, the image looks very warm. I think light was hard in front which didn't gave you a deep blue sky, but this is an excellent alternative. A lot of greytones, but all very well organised in this fine composed landscape. The man on the left looks good, but also the cloud on top of the mountain is a strong key to this image....i like it.

J'aime bien cette photo en N&B avec de bons contrastes et qui nous fait indéniablement penser au voyage. Je vous souhaite à tous les deux d'excellentes vacances et j'espère vous retrouver en pleine forme à la fin de mois.

I am not a great fan of black & white, it's not easy with backlight the make this type pictures.
You did very well, the man to the left the placing on the prow.

Christian,
first of all, have a good and safe trip and hope you have a lot of additional shots during your next two weeks to compete with this superb image. Sitting on a boat like this and enjoying the view and especifically the different cloud formations isn't necessarily what I call outdoor life, but it suits the image. Outdoor life for me is hard work, hiking, sleeping on rough surface, being exposed to wind and rain, etc. :-)
