Photographer’s Note
This child was concentrating on her studies, the very early days of getting literacy. A very casual outlook towards the studies assigned during the time when she is supposed to play. Possible she has chosen the backdrop to show her art work - her canvas. She was not aware of my presence in the room. As I entered the room, I saw her in this pose. I found her in this mood for a few more seconds. I discovered that she was actually not doing the assigment, but drawing similar art work as in the backdrop wall!! I think this is a sweet revolt on part of the kid against the effort to take away her childhood. However, I got the shot before she of me. I didn't use the flash, allowed the light from the window to lit up the part of the face for me and create a shadow effect.

Hi Kausik,
Good concept, and I like the way you handled this.
The little one is very involved in her world... and the lights have created a fine mood .. In my vision, I did a WS for this lovely image. Hope you accept it.
Enjoy the days.
All the best.

Hi Kausik. More than the literacy, the innocence on the face of this pure soul is touching indeed. Very cute. Well composed with balanced light. Regards.
