Den halder castle in the Dutch city of Valkenburg. It is a small 17th century palace that was created by enlarging and adding to an old medieval tower, which was part of the old city wall around the town centre.

On one side, the gardens have been turned into a nice public park, which offers views of the famous ruined castle of Valkenburg. The other side stands on the banks of the river Geul.

Hello Johan,
Très beau château mis en valeur par cette superbe lumière. De très jolies couleurs et un beau contraste avec les zones d'ombre.
Bon cadrage et très joli ciel.

Bonjour Johan,
j'aime beaucoup les couleurs chaudes de la pierre et les lumières jetées par les murs sous un ciel des plus sombres.
Ciel d'ailleurs assez bruité sur la droite de la photo.
J'aime bien le cadrage, judicieux.
