Photographer’s Note

I can not resist,I post another reflection shot from Inle lake.
This sceleton will become a new house some day.So we can learn about the architecture there.
My POV ? my little canoe again.
You wonder about the green tones in the foreground ?
These are algues.You must know,the maximum depth of the lake in the dry season is about 3 meters.
I post a workshopimage,taken a few seconds later.Here I did no postprocessing,you can see some dust at the sensore.Here I had a better angle to the sun but at the posted original like the composition and perspective much more.

Hi, Leo. Yes, I think we've been neighbours for the first time. Prosit ;o). You've captured great reflections here. The wooden frame is very simple, but I like the fact that it opens the view onto the huts behind it. The colours are good and there are nice lines all over the picture.

stunning reflection shot. You brought not only the reflection of the structure on the water but also some underwater details. The tight crop fits pretty well, since our attention goes directly to what it matters. Very fine work!

Eigentlich solltest du zumindest eine kleine Provision bekommen, dafür dass du Maynmar so oft und vorallem so schön präsentierst. Exellente Bildkgestaltung, klasse Farben und technisch 1A.

Excellent reflection Andreas. I think your positioning was excellent in this capture. A very well thought out photo, and I love the green tones in the lower frame. Would that be algae from under the water?

Hi Leo,
Yes the framing is much better here; great clarity of colors and excellent detail. I think a canoe must have been the perfect way to travel. I much prefer thge POV from a boat.

A very beautiful mirror reflection in this lake. But also the green blue gradient in the watter, really amzing to see this. Very good capture in this tight framing. Light is beautiful, you really were at the right time at the right place...

Ein super neues Bild, die Farben und der Kontrast sind toll, die Schärfe ist perfekt und die Spiegelung könnte auch nicht besser sein. Ich muss mich ziemlich bemühen, um den Punkt zu finden, wo die Pfosten ins Wasser treffen ;-)

very nice colours and reflection!I like the small band of green grass separating the sky from the water,if it was not there,we could think that they are the same element ,as their colour are exactly the same!This green is very beautiful in all this blue,the contrast is superb!I also like the green grasses we can see inside the water,it creates a superb colour's harmony!I like very much!

Hello Andréas, it is true that the point of view of the WS!!Minolta!! described better than the words the complexity of construction, it is a very large prospect with all these lines which converge in the same direction and a beautiful depth with in more of the well collected reflections, with the different exotic colour it is besides one of the prettiest reflexion on water than it was given to me to see, sincerely..................Bonjour Andréas, c’est vrai que le point de vue du WS !!Minolta!! décrit mieux que les mots la complexité de la construction, c’est une très grand perspective avec toutes ces lignes qui convergent dans le même sens et une belle profondeur avec en plus des reflets bien captés, avec les différente teinte exotique c’est d’ailleurs l’une des plus jolie réflexion sur l’eau qu’il m’ait été donné de voir, bien amicalement

the blue/green water is what I like best in this superbly composed photo, I find it nicely conveys the idea that there's life not only above the water, but also below the surface. as others have noted, the tight composition works well to draw attention to the unfinished structure and the captivating patterns and angles the poles create. very well seen and presented, my compliments.

Hello Andreas,
Strange feeling looking at this peacefull looking photo and earing the catastrophy that happen there this week. I heard that 90% of the trees have fallen, 22000 dead persons, adding to this the ditactorial regime that is rulling and destroying the country what else can happen to this poor people.
Let's hope that the calm shown in this beautiful photo can be restored in Myanmar so that the affected families can bear there deads in peace.

The distortions in the water add a wobbly feeling to the structure.
Excellent composition, full of details, you can't go wrong with a good reflection shot.

Both pictures are excellent & have their own strong points. The perspective & depth here thanks to the diagonal compo. & the artistic quality of the reflection in the WS. The blue tone of the water is lovely & I did guess that the green was created by algae..love that floating colour as well. A fine set of shots in good light. Good work my friend!
