Qui a dit qu'il ne faisait pas beau en Belgique ? Une vue très intéressante d'une plage où les estivants profitent du beau temps.
Le quai d'escale qui s'avance sur la mer est curieux (arches).
Au loin les petits voiliers qui cherchent un peu de vent.
Très bien réalisé John.
Couleurs toujours très douces et naturelles.
Who said that the weather was not beautiful in Belgium? A very interesting sight of a beach where the tourists take advantage of the good weather.
The quay of stopover which advances on the sea is curious (arcs).
Far off the small sailboats which look for a little wind.
Very well realized John.

A pleasant scene from the beach, John, the mood of a pleasant warm summer day is well conveyed. The people make a nice and colorful pattern, and in the back, the sailing boats and the pier at the right balance the composition well.

Een leuke dag op het strand. En dan te denken dat ik er zo dicht bij woon en er nooit kom... Je doet me van gedachten veranderen; terwijl het weer nog zo goed is moet ik toch nog eens ginds gaan zien. Leuk zicht met de bootjes en de pier.

On a hot day like we're having in California, I can only barely tolerate looking at this scene... ;-)

What grabs my eye are all the bright colors scattered over the sand from towels, clothes, tents, and umbrellas. Your kit lens does a fine job here John. Too bad about the air pollution lying at the horizon, but I know you have no control over such things. There is quite a bit of noise in the sky, however, that you could get rid of with post processing. But this is fine work nonetheless.

Beautiful view John, I like the activities you've capture particularly on the water with those sailboat, the view on the pier complete pretty well thice very nice view on the beach, well seen.

Looks like a nice day to go to the beach. I like the contrast between this shot and Kaj's recent shot of a French beach. The difference is clearly visible between this northern European beach and the Mediterranean beach. This seems a bit less ideal than that one and more like the seasonal beaches here on the lakes. BUt it's not a bad thing. It's a good capture of the place and a different kind beach. I like the sailboats out there on the water. They are picture perfect as you captured them. Perhaps it seems a bit soft to my eyes and I would be tempted to crop it just a bit. But it is a nice scene. Nice job.

A nice shot of what is known here in Luxembourg as "la cote belge" - the beaches at Oostende and Knokke. As Luxembourg has no coast this is the closest sea - 350 km away. I can see it was not a very warm day, so typical of this summer. TFS

Nice to watch this place (agian) John - I'm not quite sure - but believe to have visit that bridge (pier) back in 1970 - age 17, A fine beach for sure - very rare around where i lives - thanks.
