Photographer’s Note
This is a photograph of Whitby Abbey in North Yorkshire. I actually went to Whitby because of the Goth Weekend! I thought this would be a great opportunity to capture some images of people (which I rarely take) but I ended up being so drawn by the amazing beauty of Whitby Abbey that I spent most of my time photographing that!
The abbey is a great structure for photographers with really interesting shapes to work with. I highly recommend a visit, if you're not too far away!

You've done a good job here, although I do find the warm sandstone very appealing in colour.
Hope you got some interesting Goth pictures too.
Whitby has always been an arty place and welcomes the more unusual visitors.

hi tom
excellent POV. i like the colors, they are just so soft. infact the bold architecture stands out is such soft light. the framing is good. only, the right side is cut. you should have avoided this slab...
