Photographer’s Note
This shot was taken from across the Chettupuzha canal showing the back yard of my house. The lush green vegetation and the infinite coconut trees is giving beauty to this place. The water is very mild and the greenery is also reflected in the waters. We built a compound wall as during rainy season all the soil is eroded away. But we have left an opening with steps so that we can come down to the canal and do some fishing. We are getting plenty of fishes, what they call Karipidi,Kollan, Konju, etc., everyday. This is enough for our daily use.
