Very nice b&w cafe scene. Really a proud and clever gentleman, who may have had some great times, maybe a retired politician or university professor, who knows ?
But very good pov and great compo, a perfect daily life scene.

This pose belongs to the people who crush their opponents and piss on their graves.
That pose sometimes belongs to the greatest people in history of human race, and sometimes to the worst sons of the dogs your mom warned you about !

a truly significant moment captured with sensitivity and feeling. The proud expression of this man is a must here. Impulse of the moment captures rarely look this good. As we all know, the moment can't be created, and being able to capture it so beautifully is proof of your skills and experience as a photographer.

Καλημέρα Κώστα και χρόνια πολλά.
Πολύ εκφραστική η φιγούρα του παππού. Το κάδρο σου όπως και στις υπόλοιπεσ φωτόγραφίες είναι πολύ καλό. Παρόλο το πίσω παράθυρο το φως στο κυρίως θέμα είναι αρκετό για να γράψουν τα χαρακτηριστικά του. Μου αρέσει επίσης το πρώτο πλάνο με το τραπεζάκι και την καρέκλα που είναι εκτός εστίασης και μας κάνει να αισθανόμαστε οτι καθόμαστε και εμεις στο διπλανό τραπέζι.

Hello Kostas.
I like the subdued light and low contrast in this elegant composition. He appears to look down his considerable nose at the world, but perhaps we are doing him an injustice. You captured a priceless expression on his face. I like the few highlights such as the sun in the window, or reflected off the round table on the right. A very good b/w picture.

One of your incisive, thoughtful portraits in a taverna. The man does appear proud, lost in his thoughts. He has clearly seen a great deal pass by. The b&w format is perfect to present such instance of photojournalism.

Πραγματικα ενα περεφανος παπουλης...ισως να περηφανευται για τα επιτευγματα του σε ολη τη ζωη που περασε.Ο τιτλος δεν θα μπορουσε να ειναι πιο περιγραφικος.
Πολυ ωραια φωτογραφικη δουλεια που εχει παλι αυτο το κατι παραπανω...

Για άλλη μια φορά με αφήνεις άφωνο με το ταλέντο σου στο πορτραίτο, είναι μια δουλειά "φτασμένου" φωτογράφου, άψογη αισθητικά και τεχνικά, κατάφορτη με συναισθήματα! Μαγικό, γλυκό και απαλό φώς, που σαν φωτοστέφανο περιβάλλει έναν γλυκό άνθρωπο! Συγχαρητήρια!

And now... I see the husband of the strong woman! :))) Just joking, Kostas. But it could be a nice couple!
I always find hard to judge the personality of someone based on seeing one photo. And it has been a long debate in the field of photography! Still, I think we can get the feel of someone. Or, at least, "one feel". We just have to remember it might not be the whole truth! ;) Still, I'm not sure I would wish to negotiate with this man! :))
Again, a good white & black conversion. I think I would have crop in order to get rid of the plastic bottle. Or if you are really good, clone it. But that is a small detail.
Proud... and strong! :)
