Photographer’s Note
Morning commuters aboard the elevated subway in Long Island City, Queens, New York. This "W" train runs on elevated tracks through the borough of Queens, NY City, from Astoria to Long Island City; from there it goes underground, crossing under the East River into Manhattan. The trip ends at Whitehall Street, in lower Manhattan, where the train reverses direction and retraces its route back to Astoria.
