[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
The remarkable Glasshouse Mountains are a series of steep sided volcanic plugs which dominate the Sunshine Coast hinterland. This photo is of Mount Coonowrin which is 375m high. . The Glasshouse Mountains are about 70km or one hour's drive north of Brisbane.

Named by Cook during his epic voyage along Australia's east coast, the Glass Houses are rhyolite plugs formed by volcanic activity thousands of years ago. Remnants of the open eucalypt woodland and heath vegetation, which once covered the coastal plains, provide a home for an interesting variety of animals and plants, including 26 rare and threatened plant species

Hello Mike,
Beautifull picture with the little road that leads us to the fantastic mountain . The sky is great , too . A little lack of light on the trees .
Regards
Denis

Hi Mark.
Nice view of this rock formation. I like the perspective looking along the undulating dirt road. I think you could crop about 20% off the bottom, making the picture almost square. It could do with a little more contrast and sharpening, too, I would say.
Good note. I went there once, about 30 years ago.
Regards,
Andrew

Hello Mark, where does this road lead? Maybe to that mountain...wow, in this case I can assure you I won't go in my life, unless there's a lift, He, He, He !. Wonderful shot, very well composed and taken.
My compliments

Felip
