Situated 9 km south-west of Sarlat near Vezac, the overhanging gardens of Marqueyssac are most visited garden in Perigord.
The park reveals the spectacular panoramic wiew possible of Perigord.
Planted relentlessly during the XIX th century, boxwoods constitute the main theme of the walks. |

Hi Katty,
Great shot with a beautiful colors. Thank you for sharing it.

Hello,
what an interesting set of shapes you show here. The rounded shrubs contained in the more proper "enclosures" look really inviting. Maybe, the only slight problem is the background (upper left corner) that in my opinion detracts the viewer from the main subject - but still the overall effect is very good.
Best regards, Kristof

Hello Katty,
I love these green 'sculptures' ( I have some in my own garden) The ones you show in your shot are spectacular, particularly seen against the surrounding landscape. The trees give the necessary vertical lines to the composition. Good, natural colour.
Best wishes....Maggie
I really like the contrast of the strong lime-green boxwoods in front of the soft blue-greys of the background. The curvy hedges contrast nicely with the upright tree trunks which lead the eye into the rear of the composition. Well observed Katty!
Thanks for sharing.
