700th - 700. Photo

Photographer’s Note

THİS İS MY 700TH ENTRY TO TE !

As I am a member of TE since 24.01.2006 total amount of days passed since than are 817.Which means that I've posted an entry almost every day !
This capture is been made yesterday during our TE-meeting in İstanbul, at Anadalu Kavağı; last station at Bosphorus just before you exit it towards Black Sea.
This is a wall of a restaurant there; with a naive painting, shadowed by a tree above.
The meeting was attended by :

DENİZ TAŞKIN (rigoletto)
FÜSUN KONYALI (tehanu f)
BURCU YAKARTAŞ (burGu) and me
MESUT ILGIM (mesutilgim)

We all had a wonderfull day. As being the oldest (66) of the team I am glad that I have finished even the most dangerous part of the meeting; climbing to the hill with the Genoese Castle, called Yoroz Kalesi.
Otherwise this entry today would be posted by my son with a thick black frame !!

I dedicate this 700th entry to all my TE friends from all over the world, who help me to learn the wonders and hidden beauties of our world.
Thank you very much to all of you !

BU KARE BENİM TE YE GÖNDERDİĞİM 700.KARE !

24.01.2006 dan beri bu sitenin üyesi olduğuma göre, tam 817 gün geçmiş. Demek ki hemen hemen her gün bir resim göndermişim siteye.
Bu kareyi, dün Anadalu Kavağında, tam Boğazın Kardenize açıldığı noktada, bir başka İstanbull TE buluşmasında çektim.
Oradaki bir restoranın bahçe duvarından bir görüntü.

Hepimiz muhteşem bir gün yaşadık. Grubun en yaşlı üyesi olarak (66) bu turun en tehlikeli bölümünü de salimen atlattığım için mutluyum : Anadolu Kavağının sırtlarındaki tarihi Ceneviz yapısı, Yoroz kalesine tırmanış.
Aksi takdirde bu kareyi bugün, oğlum postalayacaktı: kalın siyah bir çerçeve içinde !!

Bu 700. kareyi dünyanın her tarafındaki TE dostlarıma ithaf ediyorum. Dünyamızın açık ve gizli bütün güzelliklerini bizlerle paylaştıkları için.

i quess with direct sunlight and no shadows this painting is of no interest

thank you for this beautiful and funny note, it made me smile and thank you to be such a kind member of this site from so much time and splendid results. I wish you more and more post on this site for the enjoyment of everybody. Your 700th entry is very nice. Excellent details and the inclusion of the table and chairs in the left corner with the play of light and shade on the wall add a very fine human touch. Great colors, great sharpness, great textures. I think we should thank you for all these nice photos you posted and you made our life a little bit nicer.
Unfortunately I am member in this nice family of TE only for a little bit more than 1 year and because my time for visit it is limited I discover you recently, but I must tell you that I had very good time seeing your photo collection.
I am jealous for this nice meeting you had all these nice persons and photographers. I would really like to be there.
But anyway, your photo is so alive and so good done that I feel like if I was there.

Glückwunsch zu diesem "Jubiläum"! Du "feierst" es mit einem wahrhaftig besonderen Foto, in das sich das Auge erst einmal hineinfinden muss. Das muss man erst einmal als Fotoobjekt erkennen und es dann noch so interessant präsentieren! Ein wirklich nicht alltägliches Foto - aber alltägliche Fotos gehören ohnehin nicht zu Deinen Stärken! ;-)
Tja, wie sagt man hier auf TE: Go on so!
Wir wollen hoffen, dass Dein Sohn den schwarzen Rahmen erst in 30 - 40 Jahren posten muss ... ;-)

merhaba mesut hocam

demek neredeyse hergün bir kare yuklemişsiniz. bana bakarsak ben neredeyse hafta da bir yuklemişim. demek oluyor ki benim size yetişebilmem için daha çok çalışmam lazım çoook.
duvarda ki dokulmeye başlamış resim ve o sandelye hoş bir komposizyon oluşturmuş. tabi duvara vuran ışıkta harika durmuş.

Hello dear Mesut,
What a good meeting that must have been!! Congratulations on your 700th post - I admire your ability to regularly post such outstanding shots and give us all such pleasure.
I love the dreamy atmosphere the shadows create on this painted wall, and the blue and orange complementary colours. The peeling paint adds charm ( but the artist might not agree! ) The chairs add another dimension.
Good to hear you are still able to climb the hill, Mesut - there is always another hill to climb in life!!

nice work on the textures and an overall picture from which the boat emerges, I'd remove the chair before taking the picture though...

bir İsmail Acar resmi gibi .zeminin dayanıksızlığı ise epeyce eski olduğunu gösteriyor .üzerindeki gölgeler yağmur efekti yaratmış.soldaki masa fazlalıkmı değilmi anlayamadım doğrusu.

my warmest compliments for this highly active participation at TE. I'm very impressed and a little bit jealous. I wish I would have as much time to post and critique as you do.
Very nice to live in a city as Istanbul that has non ending shooting possibilities and attracts so many TE members from all the world. You migt be able to have a TE meeting almost every weekend!

Although I passed the 700 some time ago in silent drum:), I wish you a lot of fun in your brainchilds to come.
Funny how the texture of the bladering paint becoms a graphical addition to the nice blue of the painting, you have to see it hé Mesut, with this extra sun and shadow play.

Mesut bey, yag cekiyorum sanmayin ama cidden cok karizmatik ve yakisiklisiniz. Hic sikayet etmeden, espriler yapa yapa o kadar yokusu tirmandiniz, ben utandim valla kendi himbilligimdan. Cok guzel bir haftasonuydu ve sizinle tanistigima cok memnun oldum. zaten onceden beri taniyormusum gibiydi. Bunu yine yapalim (tirmanma fasillari haric). Bu cektiginiz duvar resmini ben gormemisim. Biz gevezelik ederken siz meger fotograf yakaliyormussunuz. Eliniz, gozunuze saglik. Nice 700'lere. (Siyah cerceve bana gerekecek galiba, o kadar yorgunum ki.)

Onunde aylak aylak durdugumuz bu duvari cok iyi hatirliyorum, ama uzerine dusen golgelerle boyasi zarar gormus haliyle bu kadar hos bir goruntu olusturdugunu hic fark etmemisim.
Kendinize haksizlik etmeyin, hepimizden daha iyiydiniz o tirmanis sirasinda. Grubun en genci olarak yaninizda sizlanmaya cok utandim :) Sizinle tanismak cok buyuk bir keyifti. Nice 700'lere...

i love the shot. the subject is a simple wall, but the way you have shot it, it seems alive (as if the painted water was real). very engaging play of shadow and light.

Ne diyebilirim ki, bu da enfes bir detayın çok şık bir sunumu. 700 değil 7000 olsa yetmez, TE'deki hocaların en centilmenine olan sevgimiz hiç bitmez...

Bu fotoğrafınızın küçük versiyonunu gördüğümde yağlıboya bir tablonun fotoğrafı herhalde dedim. Tıklayınca ne kadar şaşırdım ve hayran kaldım anlatamam. Duvardaki boyanın yer yer kavladığı kısımlarla 3. bir boyut oluşturmuşsunuz. Notunuz da çok samimi ve sıcak olmuş. Nice 700 lere selam ve sevgilerle...

Merhaba Mesut Bey, incredible figures you are giving in your note ! I prefer the members who post regularly and propose a vast choice of photos in their galleries, but of course one needs time for this ! Anyway, it is impressive and you found a nice photo to illustrate this : not a ruin this time, but nonetheless an interesting and ageing wall, full of interesting details and subtle colours !
