Hello everyone!!

This is was my first day in puri.. It was really a very hot sunny day with beach fully crowded ! I tried this experiment near the fishermen's alley .. These are broken down pieces of boats as you can see.. Well , may be the ones in the front may be ok..

Puri's beach is always very crowded right from the morning .... I have framed it like this because i wanted sea and its charm not to be out of the game... The boats are first taken towards the sea towards the downward slopes by 7-8 mens and then a motor is fixed to it . They then go out to sea challenging the tough sea waves...

Enjoy!!~~ And please do tell about my experiment..

Hola!
Nice composition with this broken down boats on the beach. I like a lot the panoramic view too. The picture gives an special contrast between death (the old boeats) and live (with all this people all around.
But I have some suggestions; if I don't bore you I would prefer to give a little less contrast to the picture, just a little less. An specially attention with the tilt of the background.
In any way nice picture,

Javier

Well composed, i like it. Also the addition of human element added further interest on the picture. Well done in b/w. Congrats.

Hi Sayan,
i think it's a nice B&W work.. the strong daylight helps you to create nice contrasts .. the boats give a feeling of depth, and the people give some information about the dimensions of the beach.. there is some horizontal problem i think, tilted to the left..
but in general i like it!
Congrats,
ReLa

hello Sayan

Good capture of the B&W to show the boats and beach scene. Nice composition but there is a slight tilt of horizon which can easily be adjusted by pp work.

tfs, bill

Ciao!
to me, this is the best image you have unloaded until now.
Maybe, the monochrome was the best choice for the light and color levels you have in the shot, and it works quite well. objects and people lie nicely across the frame for a composition.
greetings from Trieste,
Arnab

Hi Sayan,

I ws looking at your image for long... The B/W conversion suits well here, for this beautifull scene from PURI beach....and the thick frame makes the image pop out at us... That's a better choice too. From the other Puri Beach shots here which I have seen, this has the energy and life... And yes, I wish this in colours, but I sense, the colours are to be in the viewers hearts watching this delight in pano vision. I like this concept of composition and frame. You did a good job. Salutes, my dear brother. Enjoy the days, and am waiting your 50 th Shot soon :)

All the best..

jp

Hi Sayan.
Great high contrast backlight B&W!
The shot has been correctly exposed for the lights, and the outwell is really impressive!
Best regards.
Bobo.

Hi Sayan,
From beter to even better! The B/W brings an artistic touch to the shot, the clarity is amazing.
Keep posting. I am really fascinated with your shots.
Regards,
Shaeri

Hi Sayan,
Beaucoup de progrés dans les cadrages, BRAVO
bien pensé le choix du N/B pour cette composition que je trouve bien réaliser, ( malgré le léger tilt vers la gauche)
Have a nice day for you

Hi Sayan,
This is a fabulous shot. The B&W white tones fit very well here. The composition, and technical qualities of this one has been phenomenal.

Hello Sayan
B&W depicts the mood very well, because of the main subjects, the broken boats, as well as for the harsh light. The silhouettes of the people work well & like the fact how the boats & their remains fill up the frame. Good work!

Angshu
