Ephesus (Ἔφεσος)
Ancient City of Anatolia
(Efes)
Turkish Efes was a city of ancient Anatolia. During the period known as Classical Greece it was located in Ionia, where the Cayster River (Küçük Menderes) flows into the Aegean Sea. It belonged to the Ionian League.
Ephesus hosted one of the seven churches of Asia, addressed in the Book of Revelation of The Bible),
The city was famed for the Temple of Artemis (completed around 550 BC), and both were destroyed by the Goths in 263. The emperor Constantine rebuilt much of the city and erected a new public bath. The town was again partially destroyed by an earthquake in 614. The importance of the city as a commercial centre declined as the harbour slowly filled with silt from the river.
Today's archaeological site lies 3 kilometers south of the Selçuk district of İzmir Province, Turkey. The ruins of Ephesus are a favorite international and local tourist attraction, partly owing to their easy accessibility from Adnan Menderes Airport and via the port of Kuşadası.

neredeyse "aşık olduğum" Celsus kütüphanesi, kadrajınızda uc uca dokunan güzel zeytin dalları buram buram ege kokuyor. çok beğendim.

merhaba hocam,
çok güzel bir kare olmuş..kadraja ağacıda katarak zenginlik katmışsınız.hava parçalı bulutlu olsaydı çok yakışırdı bu fotoğrafa..
hocam fotoğrafınıza eleştri yapmak haddim değil ama kendinimi geliştirmek için yazıyorum bunları..umarım böyle yazılarımın bir sakıncası yoktur..

Merhaba Burak,
I wonder that they did not collapse. The less light is well used to show us the remaining parts of the library, well framed with the nature in front. The bricks are very good visible and the POV offers good depth of the architecture.

What an amazing 'building'. It has to be a great one long, long ago. Very nice composition with the trees. I only regret you didnt have beautiful, blue sky...but of course its not your fault. Nevertheless - good shot!

un peu dommage pour le cadrage, cette branche descent un peu trop bas.
Sinon l'idée est bonne de fermer à droite et au dessus.
Des lumières pas très favorables, mais tu en as bien tiré parti.
