This is a view from the coastal town of Batroun, known in ancient times as Botrys (Βοτρυς), situated between Byblus (Βυβλος) and Tripolis (Τριπολις). The old part of the town preserves many of the old buildings and the narrow roads between the houses. This beach is one of the cleanest in Lebanon today.
