Photographer’s Note
A view of the small wonderful square in front of the Church of Immaculée Conception in the Vieil Antibes, one of the mine favorite corners of the old city.
On the right side the long step that links the square with the Château Grimaldi, today a Pablo Picasso Museum.
The colours of the old Antibes are wonderful in the night, maybe more than during the day!

Hi Paolo,
It looks like I am the early bird but this striking shot just could not miss my attention. It is interesting how the complimentary colours harmonized so well here and creating just the right impact for the scene. I also like how the lens distortion some what helped to hold my attention in the scene. The moon is just great here, creating just the lovely ambience that make this shot different. Well done!!
Regards and a nice day ahead.

Ciao Paolo.
Buonissima immagine in luce artificiale.
Ottima la luna appena sovraesposta.
A titolo di mia monomania, avrei stirato le linee cadenti, almeno un po'.
Buona giornata e grazie per la visita.
Bobo.

Ciao Paolo,
Nice play with the colors orange and blue. The exposure was very well managed and cherry on the cake, the full moon ideally placed in the sky: a kind of recall of the urban lamp on the left.
Yves.

Ciao Paolo
Good sharpness, nice inclusion of the moon, & a marvellous warm vs cold colour contrast between the red ochre facade & dark blue sky. Bellisimo!

Paolo,
This is a great blue hour shot! Your have captured the natural and artificial lighting perfectly making this a very appealing photo. Your composition is fine with the inclusion of the tree and moon. The lighting and colors are great as is the sharpness and detail.

Ciao Paolo,
mi piace il contrasto tra il cielo blu elettrico ed i colori tenuti "scaldati" dalla luce elettrica.
una composizione semplice ma molto piacevole.

Excellent night shot. The quality is fantastic. You don't mention a tripod; did you hand-hold this at 1/6sec? The lines of the architecture are pinsharp and contrast wonderfully with the natural lines of the tree. Good work

Bonjour Paolo
Un beau mélange ces couleurs chaudes avec le bleu du ciel et la lune est là qui donne une bonne touche à la composition.
Bonne soirée.
Amicalement

One can feel, almost smell, the atmosphere perfectly here, Paolo, a distinctive atmosphere of a mediterranean city at night, fantastic combination of colors!
Cheers

Hi Paolo,
I always look at the countries that you have traveled to and I am always impressed with the extent of your journeys. I am always curious to see if the "Paoloian Empire" has expanded into another country. The entire globe will eventually be a sea of Trek Earth yellow with your "conquests". I love twilight photography and this is a superb rendition of the magic hour of twilight. You did a fine job with this beautiful old church!

I like the vivid colours of this shot Paolo
The wall on the left is a little bit disturbing. It mask the church and is not a great element in the compo. Do you had a wide angle lens ? (not easy for the D40 without internal motor)
Cheers

Non ci crederai ma a me la cosa che mi piace di più è la luna!
misteriosa sta lassù ed aspetta chi la guarda...
Ottima fotografia di un trionfo di colore.
bello anche il POV.
Cecco.
