Photographer’s Note
This is a pair of decaying water tanks on the island of Alcatraz in San Francisco. Alcatraz is the home of a prison that is no longer in use. It once hosued famous criminal Al Capone. I thought the dripping green white and rust colors looked interesting. I used my brand new Canon EOS 300D Digital Rebel with the 18-55mm lens that comes with it. I fooled around a bit in photoshop trying to do something about the brightness, but everything i did looked unnatural so i gave up. Aside from some cropping and a resize, this is the original shot.
