Goats in Teno Photo

Photographer’s Note

Another picture taken in Teno, in the North-West of Tenerife (Canary Islands). One of the most typical foods in this part of the island is the fresh cheese, made from goat milk... Delicious!!!

The picture was taken from my car, but by my girlfriend Carla. The goats were daring enough to aproach the car very closely. I hope you like it.

hi, excellent close up of these goats,had no idea they were to be found in Tenerife,there seems plenty of vegetation for them to eat ,bet the cheese taste good .thanks tom

Hola Victor.

Ah... cabras... esos animales representan lo más profundo del ser español. Son lo más castizo y los hispano que nos podemos encontrar en nuestra geografía.

Olvídate del toro: las cabras (y sobretodo cuando se arrojan desde los campanarios) son animales que pertenecen por derecho propio a la historia de este país.

En otras palabras: cabras, cabrones y cafres (los dos últimos somos nosotros) son los animales más intimamente ligados a nuestra cultura.

Y ahí queda mi discurso... por cierto, muy buena la foto.

Hola Víctor!! No está nada mal para haberla hecho desde el coche ;-)
Y la cabra en primer plano, genial!
Te diría de haber abierto un poco más el plano, pero tratándose del patrimonio nacional -y como bien dice Coco- hay que darles la importancia que se merecen.
