Photographer’s Note

The last 2 days i share with you photo's from tulip- and Hyacintenfields. Today the other landschape painter, the Narcis. This are the first flowers to come out and you find them in diffrent yellow tones and white. We had the luck to have this dark sky to frame it what makes the contrast stronger.

Hi Kik and Ko. Spectacular combination of these vibrant flowers and the brooding, dark sky.The copse of trees makes a nice meeting line.Great sense of depth with the diagonals all meeting somewhere in the distance. Regards. Klaudio.

a pleasant view and photo for look at,specially the stormy sky adds to the beauty of the scene which make a nice contrast with warm tonalities og the flowers in rows.I like also the way you composed the lines of the rows diagonaly,a great perspective you had that well composed,nicely done,

Oeh nice. I should take the train one day, together with the bike, and go for some nice tulip-field photographs. Not much of these fields around Eindhoven, but very pleasant what you are showing us here! Thanks for sharing!

Weer een pracht opname van de "bollen",zo werd het vroeger immers genoemd! Prima perspectief.
Dat mis ik wel hier in Limburg en te ver om even tegaan kijken in N.Holland.Daarom geniet ik dubbel van jullie foto's!

Yes indeed, you were lucky to have such a dark sky which creates a dramatic contrast with the flowers, illuminated by the sun.
Their yellow harmony is lovely and I like the parallel lines in the field.

Beautiful shot! The bright flowers and the dark clouds make a very good contrast, very dramatic. Nice use of the diagonal lines too, which makes things more interesting. Well done!

The compo, colours and the menacing sky are all amazing. There seems to be some noise in the sky, though...but it's nothing neat image cannot handle.

I like the composition and the colour palette!
There are fine lines in the frame and the forest of naked trees in the background makes a fine division between land and sky...
Dramatic cloudy sky makes the situation complete, the atmosphere is well captured!

Now, that's why the Netherlands are famous for their painters!!! Well, it's normal with such landscapes! Excellent capture, fantastic diagonal perspective and graphic result, amazing light managment, the cloudy sky makes an impressive contrast with the very vivid colours of the flowers. Congratulations!

I've tried so many times to capture that very magic yellow/black contrast. Never really succeded, to be honnest. Either I got water on the lens, or there was something in the background I didn't like, or I couldn't stop the car at that spot...

You've been lucky! But also expert in transforming the moment into a picture. Congrats

this looks very beautiful. You managed to make a rather dramatic look on these tulip fields with the dark sky and the strong light. Graphic perspective with the yellow stripes standing out in nice contrast.

This is a dramatic scene of shades of yellow. I like the diagonal field lines, the several different shades of yellow in the fields, and the dramatic and threatening sky. Well done!
