Photographer’s Note

Today I will start a small series about kids and their sweet expressions...
This little guy was very upset when his mother said "enouch with the play,let's go home,we must leave this indoor playground !"
His reaction was one very simple( I think he was to small,not talking yet) jumping down on the floor and starting to cry
Of course in that moment, I was sitting with him on the floor and he stopped to cry when he saw me shooting with my camera.
In fact I know for sure what he will ask to his mother when he will be able to speak : MAMI, I WANT A CAAAANOOOON !!!!! :):):)

Hi Isabela! Its a nice portrait, with good work on the lights. The b&w is nice and soft. It was easyer to take pictures of my son when he was a baby... now he is 7, like your son, and very active! lol

Hi Isabela,

I salute your ideea to start a series on kids expression. I've always found, from my experience, that looking at such photos can imediately change one's day for the better. And this photo is a proof for that. I have found myself lost in the child's eyes for a long moment and kind of weak up with a smile.

The composition is great and the black and white suits the moment.

The very open diaphragm that very clever you used, gave the most excellent result, focusing only in the eyes and the lips of the baby, giving thus all the weight to his really sweet expression .
Very good choice the B/W presentation.

Excellent baby portrait. I think I’ll try to make some similar shots from my little princess.

Btw: Please forgive me that you get critiques from me so rarely. Actually I follow all your photos and I like them a lot. Especially your baby captures and from your recent trip to Istanbul. The only reason I don’t write is that I’m too lazy. Sorry!
