A pleasant composition with inclusion of the gravel road!
The rocks make a natural eye-catcher and one might wonder what animals are hiding there...
Attractive blue sky with fluffy clouds, however they are that close to overexposure, personally I use an EV of -0.7 to -1.3 in situations like this!

Hi, Toba,
very nice landscape. Well composed and the road is a very nice lead in. It looks like you were dealing with some pretty harsh lighting conditions, though. To me it appears the ground part has too many harsh shadows and the sky is a bit light with the clouds nearly blown out in parts. I have done a workshop on this. Hope you find it helpful. Hi Tobias,

A natural view-point for the deer in the search of a prey !!! The image is quite made up with the road on the left which balances the image well. This sky, in spite of the light over-exposure which our friend Shelly corrected well, is splendid and gives a good relief to this African landscape. Thank you Tobias.

Toba,
Great landscape of these area. I remember being here, weather was not good, it was very cloudy. Accordingly, this is where they get the inspiration and base on this area for the landscape in the Disney movie "The Lion King"
Great sharpness and clarity, the color and light of the blue sky and landscape is well saturated and contrast. I like it, thank you toba, my friend.

Hi Toba,
das Bild ist echt schön, gefällt mir sehr gut. Schöne Farben und ein unglaublicher Himmel. Die Felsformation sieht super aus. Der Weg da unten links kreiert eine schöne Tiefe.
Allerdings muss ich Jose Recht geben, eine off-center Stellung des Objekts wäre wohl besser gewesen für die Komposition und ein höherer Kontrast hätte die Felsen noch besser hervorgehoben. Ich hab dir einen Workshop gemacht in dem ich genau das versucht habe so zu machen, ich hoffe er gefällt dir.
Aber alles in allem ein sehr schönes Foto, gute Arbeit.

I know how difficult it is to make good compositions from the jeep as you are limited to where the driver stops. The kopjes are an unusual feature of the Serengeti landscape, and make an interesting photographic subject. The African light is very harsh and difficult to expose for. I would put some ND grad filters on your present list. Having one on this image would have limited the over-exposure in the white clouds. Well done

Hallo Tobias,

I learnt about these interesting and scenic rock formations from Kath's posts.

You did a beautiful capture here, with the help of the picturesque sky and the bright sun light. The piece of the dirt road on the corner helps much the compo, which is quite well done, although I wonder if you couldn't have off centred it a bit.

Maybe a lower POV, putting the rocks upper and more to the left would result well also, although that would make less use of the sky.

I like the high contrast of the image, but perhaps a little less wouldn't be bad.

It's interesting how this landscape looks so familiar to me as it reminisces much the landscapes of the region where I was born. I have no posts where that is evident, but maybe these ones give you an idea: 1, 2 3.

A wild nature you show us,seems you had a strong light because of the overexposed parts in the clouds but overall a good controlled one and I like the scene totally.

Like the build up of the perspective of the dirt track on the left, curving away from view. Like the rocks on the right which makes this attractive. Some OE in the clouds, could have reduced the exposure in PP. Nice picture Tobias!

Bonjour Tobia,
voilà l'exemple de photo qui aurait mérité un petit coup de filtre polarisant pour un ciel mieux exposé. J'aime bien la cadrage qui inclut cette courbe colorée au premier plan, mais je l'airais plus à gauche ce cadrage pour moins centrer les rochers.
