Photographer’s Note
Early afternoon in Monnickendam and the light was perfectly warm despite the cloudy sky...The old Dutch traditional fishing boats made the mind to travel in eras far back in time...The whole scene before my eyes looked like an old painting of the Great Dutch Masters...Real magic...I only wish if the cars were not there...but....I couldn't do anything for that...

I see that you took the same route as I did a few years ago, George, and this is a nice reminder for me.
I like the dominant pale red in this photo, and the straight line of masts. I guess that you couldn't remove the cars away, but they don't disturb so much. A very nice shot, well done, George.

Real magic indeed George - everything is so beautiful! I like the orange shades here. I think I would crop out the left side though - the pier on the bottom is a little distracting.

Very beautifull colors, the boats are gorgeous. What a pity some cars were behind. Nice shot George.

Nice boats and scene. It would suit fine for a painting. Good composition with good colours.
