Marsh,
very cool crisp shot and no doubt there are 1000 words stare but it could be followed that why we are divided in North and South though they have family relation, it happens for some time and again they will get togather then will kick off the separator..

Nice portrait, good colors, details and crop.
The soldier doesn´t look happy that you are taking photos of him...
But his face also seems to reveal tiredness and sadness. These are two words - we can think of the other 998.
