Solitary bike Photo

Photographer’s Note

Once upon a time there was a white bike. During one of its trips it approached a nice little town, with straight alleys, bridges, canals, boats and painted walls. The bike really liked this place, so it decided to take a rest there, sunbathing in a quiet Saturday afternoon, while the rumours of the city were far far away....

C'era una volta una bicicletta bianca. Durante una delle sue pedalate arrivò in un paesino delizioso, con strade strette, ponti, canali, barche e muri colorati. Alla bicicletta piacque molto questo posto, così decise di riposare, crogiolandosi al sole di un sabato pomeriggio, mentre i rumori della città erano molto lontani...

I really like the composition of your photo. It's simple and elegant. Everything's harmonious here. Recently i appreciate such stuff - daily scenes from streets.

Hello Sabrina,
It is a very "warm" photo, maybe because of enlighted view of street or because of your lovely story :)
A nice composition with brackets of window, stonewall and standing of bike. I like the white detail on right and bottom which frame the scene.
Square framing seems beautiful with vertical brackets and horizantal stones of wall.

...when all of a sudden it noticed a girl standing there looking, with a smile on her face and a camera in her hands... damn! is there a single place where you can relax and enjoy the sun without some photographer coming out of nowhere to disturb your peace???... it wasn't the first time people took photos of it - without even asking, as usual...there's something in bicycles they probably can't resist... I bet they also think up crazy stories to accompany their pictures, lol!

Ciao Sabrina,
Una composizione ed un'inquadratura perfette. La bicicletta ed i colori meravigliosi, così morbidi del delta del Po... tutto ciò che gradisco in questa regione, Comacchio senza un canale, ma lo immagina dietro.
