Photographer’s Note
It had been raining off and on here at the eastern area of the South Rim. I had dodged a thunderstorm and finally the rain stopped for a short time. I tried to make the most of that time shooting a series of shots at this location.
Repost note: adjusted shadows and highlights, lowered saturation on red, yellow and blue and increased contrast slightly on foreground.
Although this example is not as colorful as the original post, it is truer to the original scene as I saw it.

Bonjour Michael,
Best regards.
Daniel.

Wow... this seems to me to be a much better image (overall) than earlier images in terms of the sky.
On the other hand, I like the previous processing better in terms of the rest of the image.
Isn't that how it always goes? LOL!!! :)

Michael,
This is a great shot - for soeone like me, at least, because it immediately evokes the feeling of being there, as these amazing scenes roll by. The light may be to subtle for many!
I see made you have two versions. Mmmm, perhaps there is a happy medium? :)
Regards
Colin
p.s. I'm sitting in quite a dark space at the moment and your photo is getting brighter and brighter!

Hi Michael,
Ohhhh that sky! I love the colors at twilight and this image shows why. For me everything is perfect in this photo from the composition to the colors. There is still plenty of detail in the shadows for me. I love these moments sitting in an open space with the camera watching the twilight colors change.
Cheers!
Bob G.
