...this one reminds me of a turkish song that i love by Teoman featuring Sebnem Ferah... "iki yabanci" (two strangers)... the lyrics are about a couple in love... with time they drift apart, seeing each other as strangers...

Sen gittiğinde moda sezonuydu ve etrafta da modeller mi vardı? Böyle bişey demiş miydin ben mi uyduruyorum hatırlayamadım gece vakti. Modeller güzel olunca merdivenler, parkeler falan geri planda kalmış diye gördüm ben bunda :P
Sonra da katıldın mı onlara? (gülmekten tabii, LOL... fazla Marquise de Sade okumamalı)...

Hi Korkut.
I don't know the song that you mentions in your note,but,reading the little lyric you have write about it,I think your shot must be included in the music video...,it represents exactly what you tell in the note about the lyric..Good choice the B&W,it sometime give a little more romantic or sad touch.
It remind me to another song from a singer-songwriter from Spain,Carlos Chaouen,which say (more or less translating..) "..and it haven't more adversaries than we back to back.."

Insanlarin fotografini bu kadar yakindan nasil onlar fark etmeden cekebiliyorsun? Ben ne zaman yeltensem vizorun icinden adamlarla goz goze geliyorum, hersey tum sahne bozuluveriyor... :(((
S&B tabi ki guzel ama, siyah beyazin bu kadar belirgin olmasi daha da guzel, gri yok hic, giysiler siyah, ortam beyaz, cok guzel coooook.
Insanlara caktirmadan yakalama becerine saglik :)

Colde Cay (niye boyle cevirmislerse??) / Sheltering Sky buna biraz agir. Burada modern zamanlarin kuskun asiklari var, bakimli, havali, simarik bir somurtkanlik icinde. Fotograf cok sevimli, netligi de super. Neyle cektin bunu?

Bu arada Colde Cay film olarak vasat ama kitap olarak inanilmazdir; saykokillırkesköse arkadaslarimizin okudugu Marquise de Sade gibi matrak diil tabii, ama okumadiysan tavsiye ederim. )))

Italya'da çekilmiş fotolara bakarken bu kompozisyon çok hoşuma gitti bir de baktım ki çeken tanıdık bir isimmiş:)Kızın suratındaki kızgın ifade harika , acaba merak ettim kız bu kadar sinirliyken sen fotoğrafı çektikten sonra yanındaki çantayı alıp çocuğun kafasına attı mı :o)

I guess that it's a sign of modern times...At least they are sharing the same pillow :) which means that they aren't strangers and have some intimacy. Very well seen and captured Korkut. You have a good eye for these situations. The b&w enhances the drama of non-comunication problem.

Hello Korkut,
sitting on the same towel, shoulder's contact, but everybody assorted in his/her own stormy thoughts. So intimate and so detached at the same time and the music you found describes perfectly the scene. A work of art for the eyes as for the ears. A striking image and the black and white enhances the mood. Bravo.

A daily life scene,that`s for sure.
Even if you wouldn`t making few references,we would imagine that it`s about two "strangers" in love.I like the scene,the story,the message.

But,who didn`t lived or felt the same feeling,at least once in his life?.Strange feeling.She looks really sad,pensive.Hope they find an alternative,finally. :-)
I would like to see some DOF,a nice bokeh,but it`s just fine,doesn`t matter very much.
A beautiful moment from the real life.My compliments.

an excellent view. Life. To me it's almost funny to see how the girl is pouting, she seems really angry, yet, there is still body contact by the buttocks, so I guess all will go well:-))). Very well seen, the light is brilliant, as always with you, and I like the very smooth look of the skin.

Korkut,
you captured that idea of two people together and yet strangers probably for most of the time of their life extremely well. Did you see if they were quarreling before placing themselves in that position? The nice detail that really unifies them is the coat on which both are sitting on it. Very good to present it in B&W.

Excellent clarity to this fine mood photo. The b&w treatment fits this somber image well. The young lady does not look too happy and it looks likek the young man has his work cut out for him to turn that frawn to a smile.
