Hi Kevin,
Welcome to TE. This is a good shot for a beginner. I also suggest you take a shot of this exposing the sky and the mountain, so you have to be very low. a closer view can also be considered in my humble opinion. thanks for sharing and welcome to trekearth.

Hello Kevin, and welcome to TE. This is a good shot of the wall. Light is good and I like how you have the wall climbing up the slope and disappearing to the left. You picked a very good vantage point. Good colours and textures picked up in the shot. Depth of field is good, with decent clarity throughout. Nicely done.
Thanks, John

Hi Kevin,
Good pov to show the winding wall on the slope, beautiful soft sunlight shining on the old stone wall, thanks for sharing the UNESCO heritage, hope to see more photos.

Hi Kevin
I was attracted by this picture because of its composition which emphasize on depthness. The fg wall is the starting point for the eye. It has been said the the Great Wall is the only man made construction that is visible from the moon.

Hi Kevin. Quite an innovative POV. One gets to appreciate the details of the fort/tower and also get an idea of the topography and the overall appearance of the structure.Regards. Klaudio.

Having been to the Great Wall many times, you have an interesting perspective view of this wall in this photo. To those who don't know you can see the newly built and other older parts of this section of the wall. A bit more contrast might have lightly exposed the steps in the darker regions. This is one of my favorites in your collection. Also, thank you for your kind comments on my Laries in Waiting photo taken at the Beijing Ghost Market.
Wow! Good shot, Kevin!
I never been here, in this part of GW.Very interesting place.TFS!

This is one place I dream of going. Don't know when. Welcome to TE. For a beginner your pictures are pretty good. I viewed the night shot of the IMAX 3D theatre in South Carolina. It may require a little more exposure. Otherwise, your pictures are pretty good.

Hi Kevin
Nice comp of the great wall, hope to get here one day myself, you are lucky to work and travel at the same time. The light hitting the main object of your capture is good and the sharpness seems to be spot on. I can see the shadow detail in the steps which and the highlights are not burnt out.
