Photographer’s Note
I was in a car travelling back to Solo to catch a flight back to Kuala Lumpur when I got to see majestic Merapi clearly for the first time.
After delightfully immersing myself into the cultural richness that is Jogja, I was bid good-bye by none other than the actively smoky volcano which has a central part in the way of life of the people living in its shadow.
I'll be back, mighty Merapi. A week at your footstep was not enough.
