Children in Doorway Photo

Photographer’s Note

This was one of those unanticipated moments. Our group was on their way to another location, when suddenly I spotted these two children watching us from a doorway.

The picture was taken over 10 years ago; the image shown here was scanned from a slide. Composition could have been better, but I have always been fascinated by the colors in this photograph.

Hi David,
Welcome on TE... a fascinating place where you'll for sure learn a lot.
Your first post is an interesting one because it comes from an interesting place deserving more attention on TE. It has a huge potential in terms of photography because of its nice background.
Nevertheless, it's a pity you've cut the legs of the children... because it is not a tight cropping either. This is probably a scanned slide and though it is not bad in terms of colours, it is well worth some sharpening.
Finally, please take time to write a note...I personally think this is absolutely part of the TE spirit.
