| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
This is the Werbegasse from the Vadianstrasse.
As can be seen in this picture and in my previous posts, on Easter Sunday there was almost nobody walking the streets in Sankt Gallen's downtown. Every place was closed except from some restaurants, the McDonald's and Starbucks. At the time I took the picture it was snowing heavily, but the snow still had still not accumulated on the streets.
I increased saturation a little bit and applied USM after resizing. |

Good night Jurgen
You have played well your cards here. The levels of color saturation work quite good making the contrat look dramatic. Very good shot :)

Felip
I like the colors in the photograph, the snow filling up the frame and the way the eye is drawn to the figure on the left, who seems to be walking casually, unbothered by the weather.

Perspective, textures, reflection, snow...
I can feel the air and though I am experiencing bad weather I feel like going out into this street on your picture. Smeell the cold and feel the old houses around with my mouth open and catching snow flakes.
I shoot the right moment: the man with his back to us and his hands behind him makes a contribution to the deepnes: he's moving into the far away.

Hello Jurgen,
Snowflakes makes your frame beautiful one with your very good capture. I like dark, well contrasted background and of course your model, visitors walking. Congratulations.
Best Regards,
