Have a break Photo

Photographer’s Note

This is a little island outside Sandnessjoen. I was sailing in this little boat, hoping to catch some fishes for the dinner, when we discovered this beach. The temperature of the water and the dark clouds did not make me want to take a swim from this beach - but we got a little break. It is not real sand, but white shells that have been crossed by the waves.
The picture has been cropped, the contrast increased, and NeatImage has been used to remove some noise.

superbe photo maritime. Les tonalités sont chaleureuses, beau rendu de textures sable/nuages/brume... et profondeur de champ très nette. Bravo pour ce spectacle.

très belle composition dans des tons pastels , donne un très bel effet...la barque située sur le sable au bord de l'eau décorée par une légère brume d'ambiance...au loin les sommets des montagnes dans les nuages est bien vu??...bravo pour le résulat...amicalement BI

Such a great light, and an incredible landscape... It looks very lost and deserted, no one to disturb your rest.
I like the colors very much, yellow, then tropical blue, then the black of the mountains disappearing in the clouds. The color of the boat is just perfect to fit in there!

beautiful photo, you did a great job cropping the photo its framed so nice, the colors are nice, horizon looks straight. what a cloudy day, adds a nice lighting effect.. i gotta get to norway :) thanks

The bright colors create a relaxing atmosphere of your break. The location on the boat in the picture and only few small mountains at the horizon add to the feeling of open space and freedom. Well done!
