Photographer’s Note
It's for a vague moment in life that we hold on & then naturally let go. I took many really cute kid shots of my little friend's dip in the ocean with his dad. But it was this image as bad & out of focus as it is that seemed to stimulate a distant memory of the viewing adults.

Good thing it's out of focus - now the emphasis is more on the idea than on the bodies. Very strong photo: showing little - telling a lot.

Truely lovely image!
Strenght & tenderness. The light falling precisely on these little fingers, the open hand of the parent. So much symbolic...
Tells a lot indeed, as Willem already said.

I love this shot. The tenderness is incredible here. The softness of the picture adds to the feeling. Beautiful.
