Photographer’s Note

Siphon Draw. A hike that hundreds from the Valley of the Sun attempt each week during the cooler months of spring, yet does not follow a real trail - just follows up the draw. The hike is a bit scary at times, but even 70 year old snowbirds go up and down every day. 2 snakes, 40 lizards, two sore knees, a bit of virtigo on top of the Flat Iron...but I made it back alive. The sun was very bright at this time so it is a bit overexposed, but the scenery was fantastic as you can see.
