Photographer’s Note
Have been to SE Asia 6 time now and never seen a snake in the wild, only snakes I have seen area of the pickled variety inside bottles of alcohol.
When preparing for my trip to Bagan I didnt quite beleve the guide book warnings to always wear boots or heavy shoes due to the many snakes around Bagan. After finding this I took much more care to where I placed my feet:)

Hello, Andy -
Wow - you were brave to get close enough to take this shot - I would have been backing away quickly. Great capture of a raw moment in nature. The patterns on the skins of the animals are well-captured. Great colors, too.

very unique and nice capture...rare indeed but it is the game of life- prey and predator, eat or be eaten.

Hi Andy,
What a macabre natural dance between two very beautiful creatures. Shame the Gecko bought his ticket.
I'm a great fan of snakes, never saw one at Bagan but saw plenty of other throughout SE including a 5 metre python in Northern Thailand in the wild which was the highlight of my trip. Saw plenty pickled in bottles as well :o(

Matt
