Photographer’s Note
I took this shot near Mindo in Ecuador. Mindo is a few hours Northwest of Quito, Ecuador's capital. The region is calssified as a cloud forrest, and there is plentiful vegitation and many many insects.

Hi, Amy,
this is a beautiful macro shot! Astonishing color, marvelous detail, lovely light. It is a little disconcerting to have the flower stems pointing sideways. Still a really pretty shot. Many thanks and kindest wishes,
