Officially, the carnival of Bolzes was born with the foundation from the Brotherhood of Carnavaliers, initiated by three inhabitants of the old town of Freiburg, including two teachers and an owner of coffee. The goal was to make reappear the carnival in Freiburg, then in loss speed. A key character of the city joined, Hubert Audriaz. This last builds each year of superb tanks, with the assistance of teenagers.

The carnival of Bolzes begins officially saturdays previous fatty Tuesday, by the handing-over of the key of the carnival of the syndic to the president of the carnival. The procession of Sunday afternoon is the principal part of the carnival, which is concluded by the lawsuit and the setting with died from Rababou. The tanks, often satirical, drawn by tractors or Jeeps, are followed by their disguised creators. The groups of Guggenmusik ravel among the tanks. The tanks are created by teams of friends, companies or clubs. The decoration of the tank and the costumes are linked by a topic.

Hi Paul,

this is a very nice portrait with well managed depth of field, however the only thing I would change here is the composition - I think it would look better if the person wasn´t centered, but moved either to the left or to the right...

Take care, Ivana

Bonjour Paul.

Very nice work, Paul.
I especially like the multicolored confetti falling down, without disturbing the man's face.
A nice soft background strengthen the feeling of depth.

Regards,

Eddie

Bonsoir,

Laurent
