Catalonia in red and yellow Photo

Photographer’s Note

This was a festival intended to celebrate the 14th of july in france, which, as you might know celebrates the revolution.

But the colours around were those of Catalonia, red and yellow being the ones that make the catalan flag.

The show was mainly characterized by regional dances and music which curiously take their origin in celtic roots.

European regions are frequently a mixture of people and cultures living side by side. And that's why they're so rich and interesting.

Very good framing which leads our eyes to the top right corner. Great shape pattern; great color pattern ! Brilliant abstract composition in fact.

Superbe ! j'aime surtout le mouvement des chaises, en arcle de cercle toujours plus serrés, et cette impression d'ordre qui surgit du cahos apparent. Les couleurs sont également magnifiques, avec ce fond gris qui les font se détacher si bien. superbe

The repetitive pattern of bright coloured elements made that I had to open the thumbnail right away. Very clever framing, most attractive image!

This reminds me of the work of Claudio / Clapox who is really a master in finding the details or patterns in daily life...

HI Gal, very nice thight crop, strong colors and as very graphic one. I espesciallt like the crop.
After your note about the celtic influence, I suddenly doubted whether i stioll knew wher it was on the map.
Indeed curious, I kn ow celtic influences along the north sea coast, but never knew it would be in Languedoc as well.

Superbe composition bien maîtrisée. la partie inférieure de la diagonale est rectiligne et au dessus en courbe. de plus sensation étrange d'être emmener (fermement) vers le coin supérieur droit. seulement 3 couleurs rouge/jaune/gris qui, pour moi, sont toujours un gage de réussite. c'est le cas ici.

Well captured.
I like the contrast between the bright chair fronts and 'sub-colours' seen on the back of the chairs.
Good perspective compo as well!

Very nice crop, colors and texture.
I like the randomness of the red and yellow (obviously they were randomly placed) and that the back lines are straight while the front lines are curving. Both add interest to the picture.

Infelizmente muitos interpretam essa mistura não como uma riqueza mas como um mal... E não entendem que é da diversidade de experiências, pontos de vista, conhecimentos e comportamentos que nós evoluimos. Que é essa diversidade que em alturas de crise faz com que haja sempre alguém que tenha uma ideia diferente dos demais e se revela a solução...

Bom ponto de vista com uma interessante dinâmica dada pelas cadeiras a formarem um "semi"-circulo esensação de profundidade. Se o chão e o fundo não foram des-saturados é um pormonor muito bom. Se foram, foi uma opção muito boa na mesma... :-)

The diagonally repeating red and yellows against a monochromatic background presented perfectly here Gal. I like the way you show these seats tailing off towards the top of the image. Well done!
