Photographer’s Note
An ancient water fountain, some of which still functions, sort of. Many of them now have modern waterworks (on/of valves) for thirsty visitors! This one was located on Abbondanza Street, the main street of the town. A friend once said that they do function when it rains; all the plumbing that's still in place comes alive when the water starts to flow! We didn't experience that because it was a hot summer day when we visited.
