A remarkable synchronisation, snapped on exactly the same time but a total different viewpoint to spot this Sandhopper Y in the Sand dunes of Jaisalmer.
You can compare with the shot from Chanjit here. Chanjit was far away from my viewpoint. I was using a TELE and blow up, same position and balancing arms of the Sand Hopper Y !
Indeed something else then the ever touristic camels even not coming here deep in to the sand dunes. An animated shot to show the vast dunes here ... will Y disappear in the sand ? ... enjoy !

Beautiful graphism here henk with the dune, but your keen eye on spotting the Y jumper makes it. Take care

Génial.. Bien tenté d'insérer une note d'humour à un paysage habituellement pris "naturel.."Les différents niveaux des dunes ainsi que la texture.. sont étonnants..

Very good fly.....

Great timing....not easy to get right, especially on those sand dunes. Sure the leaping figure of Y is the focal point, creating some action in the image, but the true star of this show is the amazing ripples captured in the dunes. They add the superb backdrop to the "jump". Well captured.

This is not the usual picture from the India... and I like this one.
The subject and timming and also the whole photo look very nice.

Great textures of sand, and i guess a very rare piece of dune photography in your gallery.
The funny Mr. Sand Hopper Y is a surreal catch, superb timing and quality with your tele. For such a timing, i guess you ought to be watching him with the tele for a long time.
I didn't know that there were dunes also in India.
Have a great Sunday.

I'm just adding it to my treasure chest without any comments.

Indeed, Chanjit's shot brills in composition, but this
one of yours strikes with unexpectancy and maybe even
absurdity when it comes to posting images in accordance
with what TE website is all about.
Y comes (or drops in) from nowhere, could be even Mars
as far as I'm concerned, or any other planet and lands
straight onto the impecable sand dune beautifully layered
and of fine graphic quality and colours.
Great fun, I suppose (well, I could say that with a degree
of certainty as I did try it myself once, but that was
a long time ago - in Egypt).
