Bukhara The Noble, this is the epithet, Bukhara had in the past. And it seems to be true – it is one of the marvellous towns along the Silk Road. Bukhara sits in a desert region of western Uzbekistan and was already a settlement during Alexander The Great’s days. Among the many sights to see and visit is the Ark (or Arq), the ancient fortress in the western section of the city. It is surrounded by huge wave-like walls which made it almost impossible for enemies to enter.
I just loved the contrast of this wall and the flower at the sidewalk.

Hello Ingrid

a simple but very effective composition. A striking contrast both colorwise and sizewise.

Thanks for sharing

Emmanuel
