Tradtional stick fighting
| [Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note |
| This is a Newari festival held every year for family members dead one year. It varies in different cities. Stick fighting, dancers, Gods, and a tall pole decorated with the picture of the dead loved one, is carried through the streets. Incense, drums, even brass bands will come by all day. (Everyday of the year, at least 2-3 festivals are in the Kathmandu Valley) |
