Photographer’s Note
...and I should be sleepin' like a log!"
(Beattles lyric)
Man sleeping, like a log, on the E-Train, New York City Transit, between Jamaica, Queens and Manhattan.
This image is really part of a practice routine of mine...aiming, framing, shooting (literally) from the hip without looking into the viewfinder. This helps me develop a good feel for the camera, a steady hand, blind working knowledge of the controls, and a sixth sense for what the lens is pointed at without really knowing...until later.
PP: rotate and crop; noise reduction using Neat Image; brighten to compensate for Internet rendering and sharpen slightly in PS.

Hi Chris,
I like the way you approached this shot and the result. Nice sharp & interesting composition. I'm sure he works hard and has earned his rest.
Regards
Santo

hats light hearted and funny to look at but I sure he must have his reasons and hard work to doze off like that. A nice moment shot though thats been nicely captured

Hello chris. Originally and worth seeing. Like that is the life. The place is however not ideal for sleeping. He dreams with closed eyes. Who knows, about what he thinks. As said: a good snapshot. Best regards, Wolfgang.
