Photographer’s Note
Pyykösjärvi, Oulu, Finland
This is a picture taken today around midnight ;-)
When it's freezing cold and some very tiny snowflakes are falling from the sky, the light emmited by different sources on ground is being scattered and reflected by it... then you see such a nice spectacles presented by Nature itself.
Today it's not so cold (only -16 deg. centigrade) but it's enough ;-)
I hope you like it!

Very cool phenomenon Jakub. The only time I've seen anything at all like this is with "Sun Dogs" which are like rainbows on either side of the sun on a very cold day. This is something I will definitely need to watch for in future. You've done a very good job in putting this together, with not only the lights, but with good light and texture seen on the snow, the lights patterns themselves and with capture of those stars. Excellent work.
Thanks, John

Hello Jakub,
Amazing interest with the lights reflecting off the falling snow particules, and the night sky creates an excellent backdrop to the effect. You've managed the shutter speed well....30 secs has worked for you. Well done.
Cheers Grant
