Photographer’s Note

Istanbul has an abundance of stray cats. Many residents feed the cats regularly. This cat lives by the seaside and waits for the recreational fisherman to throw him some scraps. Despite the beggar lifestyle, he is as majestic as they come. As you can see, he is looks well fed. This is on the shore of Moda, and on the background is the peninsula of Fenerbahce and shores of Kalamis.
