For me one of the most amazing places on Karakoram Highway - Passu is suprising with it's sharp peaks of the Cathedral mountains for foreigners same as for locals that passed this road so many times before.
It was evening and we were lying in the motel room most of the afternoon due to digestion problems. But in later afternoon I got enough energy to climb the hill just above our hostel,that I could enjoy last rays on the amazing mountains in front of me. Part of passu reminded me of Afganistan's landscape from documentary movies.
Passu village was the most furthermost point of our summer Himalaya trip that we've done by hitching and public transport from Slovakia almost to Chinese border. From this point another 10 000km back by land were in front of us, just through different places.
