Photographer’s Note
Here I continue posting Etosha photos.
This photo was shut while we were waiting for the right light to take photos of lions. Of course, when the sun was down enough, they moved away... But what was left was this beautiful tree on the edge of the pan.
My oryx-photo was removed for "elaborate frame", and I decided to re-post it in Treknature.
I will mainly post landscapes here, while most animals will "go" to my treknature account (Delfin nick as well).

Excellent composition Olga, as is the composition with the tree perfectly placed. Great colours from the low setting sun.

I think the composition is perfect to show off this desolate landscape. You managed to get a good foreground, mid-ground, and background. The evening light creates some much-needed contrast by casting shadows. In my opinion the photo seems a bit under exposed though, or perhaps it just needs more contrast. I did a workshop to see how it might look a little brighter and with more contrast.

Ryan

Hurray, Hurray!
A big hurray for the start of the Etosha photos! If this is only the start!!! ... Love it! Wonderful depth here, with very nice long shadows. Only... slightly tilted horizon to the right, but I forgive you since it's a beauty on all other fronts! Nice!

Hi Olga,
definitely a beautiful one,... archaic, great colours and sharpness, the tree perfectly placed. I suppose it´s the salt pan in the background with this incredible colour.
Well done, Christian

Можно ли африканские пейзажи перепутать с чем-либо? Лаконично, красиво. Ждала львов, а получился пейзаж. :)
По поводу воркшопа - долой пластмассу из жизни! Твои фоты естественные и красивые.

Olga, what stark and beautiful country. Your bold saturated colors and hard contrasts show this to be a very dramatic land.

Hello Olga,
Yellow grasses on field are stunning in your photo. Lonely tree and sky very well composed. Reserving more space for ground is adds great value and contrasts. Congratulations.
