Hi Leo
One doesn't normally think of this country as having blue sea and palm trees and white sand. The foreground is unusual with the blue nets stretched over the brown ???
There's lots of depth and I like the space occupied by the shadow.

Hi, Leo. Amazing to see such a beautiful beach deserted by the tourists. I like the different tones of blue in your picture and the good contrast with the sand. I think the shadow of the palm tree is also an interesting addition making a nice diagonal line in the corner of the image.

Du Wintermuffel! Winter is coming back - der war doch noch garnicht da! Das musste ich einfach loswerden. Was hast Du gegen unseren gepflegten Winter!? Gerade erst wochenlang Urlaub gemacht , und jetzt schon wieder ... ;-)
Ach ja, das Foto ist übrigens toll. Der Blick in die Weite entlang der Palmen ist sehr einladend - nur der Schnee fehlt eben ...! No offence! ;-)

This is one of those tropical paradises which are yet in a virgin status. It seams that this year there is much less pollution in the air than January 07. You got very good colours and nice POVs in both pictures. That big shade was a good thing to include in the compo. Well done.

Winter is still at bay here but even so, I am so quickly transported back as I look at this. The shadow of the palmtree over the dried fish makes it more interstign than just a beach image. Rich colours too.

Sag jetzt nur noch Du schaust das "Traumschiff" :) Ja ja ertappt, ich habe auch schon reingeschaut und fand es ziemlich peinlich. Das ist was fuers Altersheim, irgendwann, wenn die mich im Rollstuhl vor den Fernseher schieben und mit dem Loeffel Birchermuesli in den Mund stopfen ... Auf jeden Fall finde ich Deine "Palme auf Sand" eine lustige Idee und es faellt schon etwas schwer an Schnee zu denken, auch wenn ich noch ein kleines Minibitzeli Bock habe auf so etwas wie Winter. Nun ja, geniessen wir diesen wunderbaren Strand, wenn auch virtuell ... Barbara.

So many wonderful posts from Myanmar…this is very different with the shadow of the coconut palm stretching out from the corner as if beckoning the blue sea. Even the nets are blue. Beautiful contrasts & colours. The setting is truly beautiful. Good work!

Hi Leo, you have some very good shots in your portfolio. This one is very good, tones of yellows and blues are excellent - not too saturated in my opinion. And the shadow from the palm tree is the best part of this capture. Well done
